Product Description
AWS E6010 is a kind of carbon steel electrode with cellulose type coating specially used for vertical downward welding. AC/DC. It has excellent welding performance, beautiful appearance after vertical downward welding, fewer slags and high welding efficiency.
Applications: Suitable for all position welding general structures, including vertical down welding, especially pipes, vessels.
X-ray Radiographic Inspection: IIDegree
Instructions:
1. If the electrodes are affected with damp, they must be baked under 80º C for 1.5 hours before welding.
2. The stains on the weldments, such as oil stains, rust, moisture etc., must be cleared away before welding.
3. The electrode weaving should not be too wide and the strength of the arc should be suitable.
