Description :
Welding Flux SJ501 is a type of aluminum and titanium based agglomerated flux, the basicity of which is 0.5-0.8(acidic), brown spherical grains in appearance. Its grain size is 2.0-0.28mm (10-60 meshes). Flux SJ501 is suitable for use with AC or DC power; filler wires connect with Positive Electrode while in DC, the maximum current can reach to 1000 amps. With stable burning arc, the flux provides very good weld bead appearance and excellent slag removal. Additional Feathers are high resistant to stomata and low sensitivity towards little rust and mill scale.
Applications:
Combined with appropriate SAW wires such as H08A, H08MnA, H08MnMoA, the flux is widely used in low carbon steels and some low alloy steels applications(16Mn, 15MnV),such as boilers, shipments, pressure vessels, etc. Peony Flux SJ501 is also used for multi-wires rapid welding, the speed of which can reach up to about70m/h, so it is especially suitable for double-sided single pass welding.

Remarks
1. Redry the flux at 300~350ºC for 2 hours before welding.
2. Impurities such as rust, greasy dirt, moisture, etc. should be cleared from welding area.
