5 ton induction melting furance is a model of our electric induction melting furnaces with a furnace body capacity of 5 tons for Iron Steel Copper Aluminum Alloy and various of nonferrous Metal Smelting.Generally we produce induction melting furnaces by capacity from 500kg to 50 tons based on requirement. 

We can supply with two specific types for this 5 ton model by Parallel Resonant Inverter and Series Resonant Inverter. Each type will have a stable working system, continuouse safety operation, efficient production capacity and low power consumption.

If you want to have one power supply to support more than 2 set furnaces, then we can also provide the solution, togheter with power factor above 95%.

Customers will make a best effective choice based on single own situtaion.

  1. The latest development of intelligent full digital motherboard, debugging only need to set and calibrate parameters on the touch screen, truly digitized, do not need to adjust the potentiometer on the motherboard, making debugging easier. During operation you can set the screen power, you can also use the potentiometer to adjust the power, this function conversion can be achieved on the screen through the software setting.   3. The water pressure data of the power supply and furnace body are collected and stored in the PLC system in real time, and the alarm is set on the touch screen.
  4. The power supply part of the reactor, rectifier, inverter, filter, resonance and other parts of the backwater are installed temperature detection, the problem of the waterway branch has a light-emitting diode indication, and in the touch screen and mobile phone real-time indication of the fault appears in that part, the serious fault directly causes the power to stop running.
  5. Detect the water level in the closed water cooling system, and immediately stop the alarm when it is lower than the set position.

  10. The reactor uses an empty core reactor and uses epoxy resin for pouring, which makes the sound quieter during operation. Conductive copper pipe adopts thick wall, large inner diameter copper pipe, lower heat, not easy to scale, long service life.
  11. The 81 type water jacket is adopted, which has large size, large conductive cross section, low heat output, and larger water cavity of the water jacket, which is less prone to fouling and blockage, and has better cooling effect on the thyristor.

Inverter thyristor adopts KF asymmetric thyristor, because of the different structure of the PN junction inside the thyristor, the positive and negative voltage withstand values of the thyristor are also different, and the reverse PN junction is therefore lower in heat, so compared with the previous KK thyristor loss, higher temperature resistance characteristics, and longer life. However, because of the PN structure, KF thyristors can only be used in series inverter equipment.
